EQNITE Las Vegas: A Night of Connection at Positively Arts

EQJOY brought its EQNITE community series to Las Vegas, gathering local leaders, educators, and community members at Positively Arts for an evening focused on strengthening children’s emotional well-being across Clark County.
Andrew Cannon led attendees through an immersive experience of EQJOY World, the organization’s toolset designed to help children and adults recognize, understand, express, and manage emotions. The format gave guests a first-hand look at how the tools work in practice rather than in theory.

A panel conversation on emotional intelligence followed, featuring Pilita Simpson of Positively Arts and Jeff Civillico, CSP, CPAE of Win Win Charity. The discussion focused on why practical, community-rooted approaches matter for supporting children’s mental health and family well-being in Las Vegas.
Community Partners
The evening was made possible through the support of Thanks To You LV, Print Solutions LV, the @Nation Booster Club Las Vegas Chapter, and the Insights Career Network.
EQJOY is continuing partnership conversations with attendees interested in bringing EQJOY tools and programs to more children, families, and communities across the Las Vegas Valley.
What’s Ahead
EQJOY is expanding the EQNITE series into additional cities through the rest of 2026:
- New York — July 31
- Chicago — September 14
- Cincinnati — September 17
Each gathering is designed to bring together nonprofits, educators, mental health professionals, community leaders, parents, philanthropists, and local connectors who share a focus on children’s mental health and family wellbeing.

Summer Research Pilot
EQJOY is also launching a research pilot this summer for the EQJOY World 5-Week Accelerator Program, a home-based program for families with children aged 11 to 14. Participating families will run the program between mid-June and the end of July, contributing feedback that will shape the broader launch later this year. OvationMR is serving as a research partner.
MREF Grant
EQJOY Co. was selected as one of the 2026 nonprofit grantees of the MREF Race Around the World for Education. Funds raised through the global virtual fundraiser will support EQJOY’s work in Nevada, helping children build emotional intelligence and resilience.
